BROKEN GROUND
And so there was this body
In a land unfound
In a state unstated
In unbroken ground
And so then He came down
To tend to his garden
The body was ready
But the soil was hardened
So He plucked the body
And chose it for serving
Cause He saw such promise
Through the sights undeserving
So once it was plucked
And He saw the dirt caked
He used his hands
And caused it to break
The crusted mud shattered
And splattered about
But at the same time
It all wasn't out
And without His help
The body was hopeless
And though he had told it
The body wont know this
It can't see the dirt
That needs to be cleaned
'Cause though its been saved
It's not yet redeemed
And eyes have not seen
And ears have not heard
What he has in store
For his body in earth
So I'll let him work
To strip it away
The body he planted
Is getting cleaned by the day
